I don’t understand people who take a position such as the one above me: just taking the known universe, the statistical likelihood of intelligent alien races capable of interstellar travel existing is a number indistinguishable from 100% (yeah yeah yeah, we can argue about the limitations of interstellar travel according to current human science, but consider all the things that were inconceivable or impossible according to science just 50 years ago and are quotidian now).

There have been a surfeit of extremely well-documented cases of UFO sightings by extremely respectable sources (former President Carter, Buzz Aldrin, the current and past governors of a few of our states, military personnel, policemen, etc.) Many of the EU governments have opened up their UFO files to the public, acknowledged that there has been contact with crafts whose performance is beyond the capabilities of our science, and have encouraged the US to do the same.
